Rapids announce 2025 ECJLL Men's Regular Season Schedule

SAINT JOHN, NB - The countdown to the 2025 East Coast Junior Lacrosse League (ECJLL) season is officially on as the Saint John Rapids’ regular season schedule has been announced. The Rapids are set to open their campaign on the road against the St. Margaret's Bay Rebels on Saturday, May 24, at 7:30 PM at Spryfield Lions Rink.

Saint John will continue their road swing the following afternoon, facing the Dartmouth Bandits at Shearwater Arena (May 25, 2:00 PM), before returning home for their highly anticipated home opener weekend at Lord Beaverbrook Arena on May 31 against the Sackville Sportwheels Wolves at 3:00 PM. The Rapids will also host the team on June 1, giving fans a chance to catch the action at home to kick off the season.

The Rapids will face all five ECJLL rivals throughout the season, with matchups against the Mi’kmaq Warriors (June 7, July 13), Halifax Hurricanes (June 21, July 5, July 6), and Rebels (June 28, June 29).

Saint John’s schedule features several back-to-back weekend battles, with crucial home-and-home series against division opponents in June and July. The Rapids will wrap up their regular season with a two-game road trip, facing Sackville on July 12 before closing out against Mi’kmaq on July 13.

The Rapids are eager to build off last season’s momentum and make a deep postseason push. With a mix of returning talent and fresh faces, the 2025 campaign is shaping up to be a must-watch.

Tickets for all home games at Lord Beaverbrook Arena are available for purchase at the gate. Fans who are unable to attend in person can still catch all the action live via the Rapids' YouTube page, where all games will be streamed.
